How copy files from Windows 2003 server to Linux in VMWare

I need to know if there is a way to copy files from Windows 2003 server to Linux. I have installed VMware on Win 2003 Server and i need to move few files from Win 2003 server to Linux (both OS on the same machine).
 
Kindly advise.

Yes configuer samba server will esay to trans file from windows to linux and linux to windows

thanks for your help. I have never worked or configure samba. I googled samba and found out that i have to go
Menu --> System Settings --> Server Setting --> Samba but i don't see system settings in my Linux. Can you please guide me step by step.

which version of linux are you running?
You need to edit the smb.conf file either using a text editor or graphical tool such as swat.
The locacation of this file differs depenting on the edtion of linux you are running.
